Add a professional UHD 4K monitor to your shoot with the Cine 18" 4K High-Bright Production Monitor from SmallHD. Featuring the updated SmallHD OS4.1, the monitor provides a crisp 4K image with 3840 x 2160 resolution, 10-bit (8+2 FRC) color intelligence, 1300:1 contrast ratio, and 1100 cd/m² brightness for use outdoors.
The edge-lit display features four 12G/6G/3G/HD-SDI inputs and four 12G/6G/3G/HD-SDI outputs, as well as one HDMI 2.0 input. All functionality of the monitor is accessed via the innovative Page Builder in OS4.1, which features a full-featured UI, pre-configured pages, and page tabs. Other monitoring features include a calibration wizard, false color overlays, waveform, pixel zoom, focus assist, peaking, and improved function buttons.
The monitor can be mounted using the VESA pattern on the back or by 1/4"-20 threads around the top and sides of the monitor. You can power the monitor using a 4-pin XLR input or via the dual V-Lock battery plate, and they are hot-swappable. Data inputs and output can be performed using the SD card slot to load 3D LUTs, and the monitor also features an RJ45 Ethernet port and an RJ45 GPI port for additional data and configuration. There is a 3.5mm headphone output to monitor the embedded audio.

Step 1:Explore the options then add your gear to the Camera Bag. If what you’re after is not listed please add it in comments or simply Contact Us.
Step 2:View your Camera Bag & select the date & duration of the hire including the desired collection time.
Step 3:Once you're done review your Camera Bag & add any special requirements in the Message field. Urban Cine will follow up with questions &/or answer your questions.
Step 4:Submit to request a quote. You'll receive a copy. Urban Cine will send you a formal quote if required.
Step 5:Pick Up & Return: Typically after 2:00pm the day before the hire, & by 11:00am the day after the hire. Picking up the day before gives you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the equipment & check that everything is in order before your shoot the next day.
Step 6:Payment: For new customers payment is required prior or on collection. If you have a history with Urban Cine a credit account may be offered.
Step 7:Insurance & ID: To ensure insurance for hired equipment is valid Urban Cine Pty. Ltd. asks you to verify your identity. By doing so you are supplying the required 100 points of ID. Step 8:Using Equipment: It’s fair & reasonable to expect the hirer has the skillset to use equipment in a respectful & professional manner.
Step 9:Report Issues: Please report equipment failures & breakages. Feedback is important. If you’re experiencing issues with equipment on set please call us asap. Often issues can be rectified over the phone.
