The Kupo KCP-628B Steel Heavy Duty Boom (2.8M) is a great choice for placing lighting overhead. Constructed from 3 assembled solid steel columns with black-painted surface treatment, this heavy duty boom arm can be fully extended to 2.8M & supports loads up to 6.8KG. The built-in KCP-645 pivoting boom arm clamp offers great flexibility to mount to a baby stud or a junior receiver found on cine stands. The KCP-645 boom clamp also positively locks with the ratcheted handle, preventing angle slip when fully loaded.
The included 5kg counterweight increases the stability of the boom by locking in place. The counterweight position can be adjusted along the length of the boom to fine tune the balance.
The steel safety wire is attached to the stand for an extra level of security while your lighting is boomed up high.
* Other heavy duty stands are available
