Easily combine SDI and HDMI components in your video setup with the Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 3G from Blackmagic Design. This compact bidirectional converter can simultaneously convert SDI to HDMI and vice versa, even when using different standards, and it supports resolutions up to DCI 2K in SDI and 1080p60 in HDMI. It also offers camera control conversion for Blackmagic HDMI cameras like the BMPCC 4K or 6K, enabling you to use them with an SDI-based live switcher. The Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 3G features HDMI timecode support, SDI re-clocking for stability over long cable runs, support for a wide range of pro broadcast resolutions including cine-style 48 fps, and both HDMI and SDI embedded audio input and output.
This pocket-sized converter features a sturdy metal housing with power and signal LED status indicators and rugged connector interfaces. A USB Type-C port enables the BiDirectional SDI/HDMI converter to easily connect to and be powered by large-screen monitors, laptops, desktop computers, or projectors. You can also power this converter using the included 100-240 VAC power supply, complete with four international socket adapters.

Step 1:Explore the options then add your gear to the Camera Bag. If what you’re after is not listed please add it in comments or simply Contact Us.
Step 2:View your Camera Bag & select the date & duration of the hire including the desired collection time.
Step 3:Once you're done review your Camera Bag & add any special requirements in the Message field.
Step 4:Submit to Request a Quote. You'll receive a copy of your request.
Step 5:Urban Cine will follow up with questions &/or send a formal quote if required.
Step 6:Pick Up & Return: Typically after 2:00pm the day before the hire, & by 11:00am the day after the hire. Picking up the day before gives you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the equipment & check that everything is in order before your shoot the next day.
Step 7:Payment: For new customers payment is required prior or on collection. If you have a history with Urban Cine a credit account may be offered.
Step 8:Insurance & ID: To ensure insurance for hired equipment is valid Urban Cine Pty. Ltd. asks you to verify your identity. By doing so you are supplying the required 100 points of ID. This will protect both you the Hirer & Urban Cine Pty. Ltd. You will receive an SMS. Just follow the prompts. For more info see OCR Labs IDKit
Step 9:Using Equipment: It’s fair & reasonable to expect the hirer has the skillset to use equipment in a respectful & professional manner.
Step 10:Please report equipment failures & breakages. Feedback is important. If you’re experiencing issues with equipment on set please call asap. Often issues can be rectified over the phone.
