The Tilta Nucleus-M II Wireless Lens Control System Ultimate Kit provides advanced, four-channel lens control for cine-style shooters. Compatible with first-gen Nucleus-M components, this enhanced version features more reliable transmission, greater precision, a 2.4" display, updated algorithms, & L-series battery power.

Ultimate Kit

This Tilta Nucleus-M II ultimate kit comprises a FIZ handwheel controller, lanyard, ARRI rosette adapter, one 0.5 & two 0.8 MOD gears, one electronic focus & five standard focus disks, two motors, right & left handgrips, 15 & 19mm rod mounts, baby pin & hand unit monitor mounts, 7-pin & D-Tap cables, & a waterproof hard case that protects the system during transport & storage.

Familiar Ecosystem

This updated system features seamless integration with the first-generation Nucleus-M, eliminating any learning curve for existing Nucleus-M users. It retains the damping adjustment & menu shortcut layout of the original version.

Handwheel Unit

  • The handwheel unit now features adjustable tension, built-in lens mapping, & clear focus, iris, & zoom information displayed in up to four different locations.
  • Four control options now include the wheel & a rocker, slider, & dial.
  • Control settings like white balance, ISO, & shutter speed for select cameras.

Electronic Marking Disk

The Nucleus-M II features a new electronic marking disk that lets execute precise focus pulls even in lower light levels. This detachable ring can be removed to return to your physical focus marks.

Larger 2.4" Touchscreen Display

Use the new 2.4" colour touchscreen to quickly access controls like focus, aperture, ISO, & more.

Redesigned Lens Motors

The redesigned lens motors now offer a streamlined user interface, high torque, color-coded LED indicators, & a compact form that is ideal for gimbal, handheld, & drone use.

Updated Algorithms

  • The Nucleus-M II's new PID 2.0 (Proportional Integral Derivative) algorithm now offers a fast 0.02 second response time with smooth, stutter- & delay-free adjustments.
  • When used with the handwheel, you can now control up to four channels.
  • It can be paired effortlessly with stabilizers like the DJI RS 2, reducing your setup time.
  • The modular design lets you quickly replace gears.
  • This kit includes both 15 & 19mm single-rod mounts.

Ergonomic Handgrips

  • You can configure the ergonomic handgrips for maximum comfort & easily switch between the primary & secondary controls.
  • Set up the Nucleus-M II as a top handle, in handheld mode, or in a stabilizer configuration.

Four-Channel Control

  • The Nucleus-M II offers not only focus, iris, & zoom, but also a fourth channel used for geared filters like Tilta's variable ND for the Mirage Pro Matte Box.
  • The ND control lets you make real-time exposure adjustments from a distance, a handy feature for capturing gimbal, stabilizer, handheld, or complex dolly shots.

Sony L-Series Type Compatibility

The handwheel unit is powered using widely available Sony L-Series type batteries that you may already have in your kit, providing long runtimes.

Settings Presets

The Nucleus-M II handwheel controller can store up to 128 data presets, letting you quickly recall settings with a touch.

Power Loss Protection

Power loss protection maintains your MARK point & RANG memory setting, even after an outage.

Multi-Point Collaboration

The Nucleus-M II supports multi-control adjustments for both camera & lens motor settings, letting solo operators or teams tweak each FIZ parameter.

  • The detachable handwheel lets you easily set up the Nucleus-M II in a left-hand-friendly configuration.

How does Hire work?

For a trouble free experience please follow these steps.

Step 1:Explore the options then add your gear to the Camera Bag. If what you’re after is not listed please add it in comments or simply Contact Us.

Step 2:View your Camera Bag & select the date & duration of the hire including the desired collection time.

Step 3:Once you're done review your Camera Bag & add any special requirements in the Message field. Urban Cine will follow up with questions &/or answer your questions.

Step 4:Submit to request a quote. You'll receive a copy. Urban Cine will send you a formal quote if required.

Step 5:Pick Up & Return: Typically after 2:00pm the day before the hire, & by 11:00am the day after the hire. Picking up the day before gives you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the equipment & check that everything is in order before your shoot the next day.

Step 6:Payment: For new customers payment is required prior or on collection. If you have a history with Urban Cine a credit account may be offered.

Step 7:Insurance & ID: To ensure insurance for hired equipment is valid Urban Cine Pty. Ltd. asks you to verify your identity. By doing so you are supplying the required 100 points of ID. This will protect both you the Hirer & Urban Cine Pty. Ltd. You will receive a text message. Just follow the prompts. For more info see OCR Labs IDKit

Step 8:Using Equipment: It’s fair & reasonable to expect the hirer has the skillset to use equipment in a respectful & professional manner.

Step 9:Report Issues: Please report equipment failures & breakages. Feedback is important. If you’re experiencing issues with equipment on set please call us asap. Often issues can be rectified over the phone.
