Hollyland Pyro Ultra 4K HDMI/SDI Wireless Video Transmission System (1 TX + 1 RX)

Product Description

Add reliable 4K wireless video transmission to your workflow with the Hollyland Pyro Ultra 4K HDMI/SDI Wireless Video Transmission System. Designed for professional productions, this versatile kit includes a transmitter and receiver, along with essential accessories for seamless integration into your camera rig. Supporting both HDMI and SDI connectivity, the system delivers high-quality video transmission at distances of up to 1500 metres (line of sight), making it ideal for large sets, live events, and complex shooting environments.

Powered by Hollyland’s advanced TWiFi transmission technology, the system combines 2.4- and 5-GHz signals into a stable, interference-resistant connection with automatic frequency hopping. This ensures consistent image quality and ultra-low latency, down to 20 ms at higher resolutions. Dynamic Frequency Selection further enhances reliability in crowded RF environments.

Flexible operating modes allow you to tailor performance to your production needs. Broadcast mode enables extended-range monitoring across multiple receivers, while standard mode supports up to six monitoring devices, including mobile apps. Focus mode prioritises minimal latency, providing a responsive viewing experience ideal for precise focus pulling.

The Pyro Ultra also supports unlimited receiver expansion, allowing additional units to connect to a single transmitter without compromising signal stability.

Built-in UVC and RTMP streaming capabilities enable direct integration with live streaming platforms and remote workflows, while features such as freeze-frame protection and adaptive output resolution ensure smooth, uninterrupted monitoring.

Notes:

  • Stable performance is ensured with up to 20 receivers. Additional connections are supported but may vary depending on the actual environment.
  • Focus Mode can be enabled on all receivers within the same group. Minimum latency under standard test conditions: ≥20 ms at 1080p25/30, ≥40 ms at 1080p60, and ≥45 ms at 4K60. Latency values apply only when Focus Mode is enabled.
  • In Broadcast Mode, the maximum transmission range is 2,300 ft (700 m). In Non-Broadcast Mode, the maximum transmission range extends up to 4,900 ft (1.5 km).
  • Actual frequency availability may vary based on local laws and regulations.
  • Actual capture resolution depends on the settings of the receiver. UVC supports resolutions up to 4K60, while RTMP streaming is limited to 1080p60.
  • Within the Pyro ecosystem, Pyro 5, and Pyro 7 are compatible in both broadcast and non-broadcast modes. Pyro H and Vcore are compatible in non-broadcast mode only. Pyro S currently supports non-broadcast mode only; compatibility with broadcast mode will be added in future firmware updates.
