The kit includes the HawkLock cage, a removable top NATO rail, & an HDMI cable clamp. The camera mounts onto the cage using screws on the bottom & two sides, preventing twisting or movement. The removable NATO top plate makes the cage compatible with numerous microphones. When removed, it can accommodate the original XLR top handle or other accessories that require full access to the top hot shoe.

Featuring an integrated Arca-type quick release base, you can quickly mount the cage onto a compatible tripod head or use the built-in 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 mounting threads to mount the camera plate for your specific tripod head. Around the cage are also multiple 1/4"-20 & 3/8"-16 threads, a shoe mount, a QD port, a strap slot, & a HawkLock side NATO rail for adding a variety of accessories.
